Hillwalking and Nature

Nature is for many of us a vital source of spiritual nourishment in an increasingly busy world. We combine traditional Buddhist teachings with the simple practice of spending time in the rich and beautiful landscapes that surround Dhanakosa.

Teaching will include an introduction to meditation, and options specific to the retreat you are on (hillwalking, mountain biking, etc.) will be available to suit all levels of fitness.

All retreats include meditation instruction, periods of silence, and introduction to the Buddhist tradition including elements of Buddhist ritual, appropriate to the level of the retreat. No experience is necessary.
