Dhanakosa does not charge for retreats. Instead, we invite people to make a donation towards the ongoing cost of running the centre, for everyone. This recognises that everyone’s financial circumstances are different. It’s a genuine donation but our suggested donations may serve as a guide. You are free to decide how much to give. And we don’t want our doors to be closed to the less well off.

The donations we collect from you on your retreat pay for future retreats. You are “paying it forward”. And the retreatants of the future will heartily appreciate your generosity.

Booking fees:

£100 for 4-14 night retreats
£75 for 2-3 night weekend retreats

Our suggested donations for 2026 (in addition to the booking fee) are (higher/lower level):

Weekend - 2 nights: £320 / £220
Weekend - 3 nights: £390 / £270
7 nights: £690 / £445

Our suggested donations for 2027 (in addition to the booking fee) are (higher/lower level):

Weekend - 2 nights: £330 / £230
Weekend - 3 nights: £400 / £280
4 nights: £450 / £320
5 nights: £530 / £360
7 nights: £700 / £450
9 nights: £820 / £550
14 nights: £1260 / £850

We invite people to make a donation on booking or in advance of arrival, either online or by phone. You can do this when booking online, by phoning the office or donating online here.

It will also be possible to give a donation while you are here. Donations can be made by credit/debit card, cheque or cash.
