Regulars - Triratna
These retreats are for people who are already practicing within the context of the Triratna Buddhist Community. Previous experience of the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditations and of the 7-fold Puja will be assumed.
WOLF AT THE DOOR: REWILDING THE HUMAN SPACE - a writing course led by Ananda and Vishvantara with Dharmavadana.
Wolf at the Door offers you a wild space for a week, to explore and unearth unsuspected marvels through the practice of writing, ritual, group meditation and discussion. Instead of a spade, we’ll use pens and keyboards; and instead of fertilizer we’ll use our deep imagination.
No prior writing experience needed, but you will need to know the basic Triratna meditation practices.
Each day will begin with a group meditation in the shrine-room, and there will be a short devotional ritual to round off the day.
There will also be periods of silence each day, as well as silence over-night. This is so that we can concentrate more easily on our inner experience, and allow ourselves to go deeper into our imaginative life.
